... the days when ox wagons still frequented the dusty main shopping street in Windhoek in early South West Africa was the year W Meyer, the origin of what is known as Adrian & Meyer Jewellers today, was established.

In the beginning of the 1970's W Meyer changed its name to Meyer Jewellers, and in 1979 a second manufacturing jeweller shop, Adrian Jewellers, was opened. Meyer Jewellers as well as Adrian Jewellers each had own workshops were jewellery was manufactured and repaired and Meyer Jewellers started with client services like watchmaking and engraving.

May 2001 - Management (Peter and Marlene Adrian with their son Rolf) decided that Adrian and Meyer Jewellers should merge to become Adrian & Meyer Jewellers, now run by mastergoldsmith and jeweller Rolf Adrian.

Additionally to retail Adrian & Meyer Jewellers also concentrates on in-house training of goldsmiths. Some of them have won renown jewellery design and manufacture awards over the years.
